1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AIWarranty (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AIWarranty is a mobile application for iOS devices that provides warranty and receipt management tools, including:

• Creating and managing warranty records for products
• Capturing and storing receipt photos and documents
• Organizing warranties by category
• Setting expiration reminders
• Exporting warranty data (e.g., JSON/CSV)

The App may offer optional Premium features (including AI-powered recommendations and verified coverage lookups). Availability may vary by region and may change over time.

3. Premium Subscriptions & Purchases

Some features require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the Apple App Store ("Premium").

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage/cancel: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Entitlements: We may use a third-party service provider (RevenueCat) to manage subscription status and entitlements.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

4. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal use, subject to these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Data Accuracy: Ensuring warranty information, dates, and product details you enter are accurate
• Data Backup: Keeping your own backups/exports if desired (including iOS backups and exports you create)
• Device Security: Securing your iOS device with a passcode to protect your warranty data
• Warranty Claims: Verifying warranty terms with manufacturers/retailers; the app is for record-keeping only

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you create in the App, including warranty records, photos, and notes. We do not claim any rights to your data.

Some optional features require network processing (e.g., Premium AI features and subscription management). See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is processed off-device.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• That the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
• That defects will be corrected
• That reminders will be delivered (notification delivery depends on iOS system settings)

Warranty Disclaimer: AIWarranty is a record-keeping tool only. We do not validate warranty terms, facilitate warranty claims, or guarantee that stored information is legally sufficient for warranty claims. Always verify warranty terms with manufacturers or retailers.

AI Disclaimer (Premium features): AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Verified options may include links to third-party sites we do not control. You are responsible for verifying eligibility, pricing, deadlines, and terms with the provider.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for missed warranty deadlines due to reminder failures
• We are not liable for any loss of data, including warranty records or receipt photos
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any dispute with a manufacturer, retailer, or third party related to warranty claims

11. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates are provided through the Apple App Store.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time.

12. Termination

You may terminate by uninstalling the App. We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you should delete all copies of the App from your devices.

13. Apple App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, support, or any claims related to it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms
